Apparently author Margaret Atwood would risk Canada's future as a united country to further her ends in the phony culture war she's declared against our prime minister.
In typical left-wing tradition, for Margaret Atwood any means seems to justify her ends. Her your-enemy-is-my-friend philosophy would “…if she lived in Quebec—vote for the separatist party to stop Stephen Harper from forming a government.”
This is truly shocking.
And what is this embrace of the Bloc Québécois and its stated purpose of breaking up Canada all about? I guess it’s the one to two per cent re-allocation within the arts and culture budget the Conservatives plan to make.
Incredible Ms. Atwood would risk the break up of Canada over about $50 million that has been taken from one program and spent on another.
A true patriot indeed.

Which is more creepy??
1. Atwood supporting the Bloc.
2. Duceppe promoting a Quebec seperation in Ontario.
3. The Liberal media not asking Dion,
the unity warrior,
about 1 & 2.
My vote goes to #2.
What's creepy is that our tax-dollars go to support this garbage.
creep·y /ˈkripi/ –adjective, creep·i·er, creep·i·est.
1. having or causing a creeping sensation of the skin, as from horror or fear: a creepy ghost story.
2. that creeps: a creepy insect.
3. Slang. of, pertaining to, or characteristic of a person who is a creep; obnoxious; weird.
American Heritage Dictionary
1. Of or producing a sensation of uneasiness or fear, as of things crawling on one's skin: a creepy feeling; a creepy story.
2. Annoyingly unpleasant; repulsive: the creepy kids next door.
Dictionary says "none of the above". That's a little trick I call "vocabulary".
You are making their point, issachar.
"Annoyingly unpleasant" and "characteristic of a person who is obnoxious" fits well enough for me.
